Christian-Fellowship

To be a congregation that fellowships one with another; We gather together to challenge each other, encourage each other, and help each other to be accountable, and stand in one accord. Fellowship is showing obedience to God and His word.

The Fellowship of the Believers

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Acts 2:42

that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:3
FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE

Is organized to help and assist in the oversight of social functions, such as potluck meals, teas, The Gathering, breakfasts, Memorial luncheons, and more. The committee is to act as assistants, and not the ones leading or in charge of a function. If you are interested in helping in this committee, please see Jo Beck (chair), Linda Reter or Sarah Carter. Tasks may include:

  • Setting up tables and chairs, table coverings, etc.
  • Organizing sign up sheets for food donations
  • Helping with clean up- may include dish washing, trash, resetting the Hall
  • Placing out foods for serving- and if wanted- signs for each dish ( what item is and who brought it)
  • Starting ovens, and being sure they are turned off

We offer help and consistent procedures to aid any group’s event. This will make each function run as smoothly as possible. If you sign up to help with an event, you would be expected to fulfill your duties, but each member is only expected to serve at one or maybe a few events, so you would not have to serve at every event.

Here’s a list of many of our routinely scheduled activities, sponsored and hosted by various church groups and commitiees. Check our events/calendar pages for current details.
