Baby blankets for the Center for Pregnancy Concerns

Part of the Woman’s ministries of our church is involved in a Baby Blanket Ministry to benefit the Center for Pregnancy Concerns (CPC). We provide easy to make (not sown) fleece blankets to go into Hannah’s Cupboard.

Hannah’s Cupboard provides their clients with maternity clothes and baby items.  This is a significant part of the Center’s program.  Due to the ongoing commitment of our donors, the Center is able to provide material assistance to the parents of children from newborn to 4T.

Our LRPC group meets on the second Saturday of each month (except July and August) in the fellowship hall from 10 am to 12 noon. We have a great time of fellowship and fun as we make these cute blankets for the new moms and their babies.

With joy and prayer, these blankets are delivered to the Center so the new babies can feel the warmth of God’s love. We also have some ladies that make knit baby hats from home. We will have some in expensive fleece to purchase at the meetings so you can start making one of these cute blankets right away. We can show you how to make them in five minutes. Please contact Carol Bronakoski for more information.
