GET MAP & DIRECTIONS

  • Our Friendly Greeters meet, greet, welcome, and assist everyone entering the church through the main lobby entrance before Sunday Worship. In the lobby we have a welcome center, stocked with informational handouts, and we have something special to present to first time visitors.
  • Our Ushers serve us before and thorough-out the Worship Service at the main doors to the Sanctuary from the Narthex. God, this day I choose peace. I will not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I present my requests to You. Therefore, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guards my heart and my mind, in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)

Previous In-person Guidelines during the pandemic as of:

1/10/22 – Session’s updated response to the County Executive’s State of Emergency

The Session met to recommend our church’s continued response to the recently declared state of emergency, noted in part below. We suggest that for now, we as individuals should follow the Baltimore County emergency mandate “to request the indoor wearing of masks”.

We ask those who choice to not follow the mask mandate, to socially distance themselves from others, who might not understand someone else’s objections. May we all share a sense grace in brotherly love.

We will continue to live-stream our service for those that cannot physically attend in person, but we do highly encourage our members and guests to attend in person to worship and fellowship in-person, and also to include January 21st Congregational Business Meeting.

Please pray for the body here at Loch Raven Presbyterian Church, as we navigate these uncharted waters, together in His Service and to his Glory.

12/28/2021 – Session’s initial response to the County Executive’s State of Emergency

The Session met to begin determining our church’s response to the recently declared state of emergency noted in part below. The Session recommends that for now we as individuals should follow this emergency mandate “to request the indoor wearing of masks” at least until we have more information. The Baltimore County Council is expected hold a vote to consider continuation of the County Executives State of Emergency beyond Jan. 3, 2022 at that council meeting.

Notices will be posted online and at doorways stating we are currently asking staff, members and visitors to comply with this order, but know that we do not plan to be an agent of enforcement. We ask those who choice to not follow the mask mandate to socially distance themselves from others, who might not understand someone else’s objections. May we all share a sense grace in brotherly love.

12/27/2021 – Baltimore County executive again declares state of emergency for COVID-19, effective Wednesday 12/29/21

The sessions plans to meet to determine how this mandate impacts our worship and other ministries at LRPC. We will continue to live-stream our service for those that cannot physically attend in person, but we are highly encouraging our members and guests to attend in-person.

The Baltimore County Council will hold a vote to consider continuation of the county’s state of emergency beyond Jan. 3, 2022 at the council meeting scheduled for that date.

The Session’s last statement on subject of masks is that they are optional and not required. We also stated that out of the abundance of caution those not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask.
