In-person Guidelines as of:

8/5/2021 – Doing our best to begin getting back to normal.

Our First Priority – Sunday Worship in-person, in the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall with:

  • Friendly Greeters meet, greet, welcome, and assist everyone entering the church through the main entrance before Sunday Worship. In the lobby we have a welcome center, stocked with informational handouts, and we have something special to present to first time visitors.
  • Ushers serve us before and thorough-out the Worship Service at the main doors to the Sanctuary from the Narthex. Besides also meeting, greeting, and assisting worshipers, they hand-out bulletins and other related information, assist folks in finding seating, and collect and secure the tithes and offerings. In the Narthex there is also an information table and magazine rack worth checking out.
  • Elders have begin once again serving Communion, now with our regular elements.
  • Members are once again using our Bibles, Hymnals and projected lyrics.

Children’s Ministry

  • The Nursery is available during the morning Worship Service
  • 2021/2022 Sunday School Classes begin September 5th 9:30-10:30 am
    • Nursery
    • Preschool/Kindergarten
    • 1st-4th Graders
    • 5th-8th Graders
    • High School

Our Live-Stream Worship

  • We will continue to live-stream our service for those that cannot physically attend in person, but we are highly encouraging our members and guests to attend in-person, with or without masks.

Looking forward to:

  • Establishing additional Sunday school classes and Bible Studies.
  • Reestablishing Good News teams to answer questions attenders might have about LRPC, our church worship service, the sermon message, or any other related questions.
  • Sending out additional updates for other activities.

Changes: (trying to keep to a minimum)

  • We will NOT be providing weekly outside audio and special handouts for worship (especially with the heat) but Radio Station [email protected] AM 1640 should be available.

  • Hopefully gone are the days preaching to an empty church

5/15/2021 – Maryland Mandates Lifted

Effective Saturday May 15, Maryland is now following the CDC recommendations and has ended our Statewide Mask Mandate along with the lifting of all capacity limits and restrictions that the governor previously announced. Baltimore County has also decided to lift their indoor mask mandate as well.

Out of the abundance of caution those not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask. Next week LRPC will announce clearer guideline for a return back to normal operations.

12/8/2020 – OUR NURSERY IS OPEN FOR WORSHIP SERVICES

If you need a space to step out of the worship service with your children, feel free to use the downstairs nursery room to continue to livestream the service on the new wall-mounted smart TV. There are signs posted in the room as to how to keep the space and toys clean and welcoming for all. This is NOT a drop-off; parent(s) need to stay with their children. Please let your guests and any newcomers know that this is available for all church worship services, including Christmas Eve. If you have any questions, please let Brea know.

6/15/20 – Opening Other Group Activities

The Session now wants to begin the process of slowly opening the church a little more by allowing monthly and bi-monthly small groups (meetings, circles & other bible studies) to use the fellowship hall. All groups are responsible for cleaning up before their activity. All requests to use only the fellowship hall (excluding the kitchen areas) should be coordinated through the office.

One meeting exception is given to the praise team to practice weekly in the Sanctuary.

6/14/20 – Opened the 11:00 am Sunday Worship Services

PTL! Sunday we had forty-seven attending worship together in the Sanctuary. We are looking forward to when everyone will feel safe and comfortable back in church, to worship and to fellowship together. Sunday was a big step in that direction!!
