Both Spiritual and Physical
A good foundation for health and safety in the new testament is ” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”Romans 13:10.
Teaching & Ruling Elders are ordained men tasked with maintaining the spiritual government of the church and creating and maintaining a vision for the church. Each Elder has a particular ministry/area where he serves and oversees. Each Elder has a group of members that they shepherd. They are always available for counseling and prayer.
Mercy, Service, and Health
Deacons and Deacon Assistants the provide Mercy and Service Ministries of the church. They minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress.
