The Session has Called for a Special Congregational Meeting on Saturday July 31st at 10:00 am for the purpose of recommending the following LRPC Bylaw changes:
- To clarify in Article VII – The Congregational Meeting, our two regular stated congregational meetings and define special congregational meetings.
- Bring LRPC By-law Article I – Section 3 into accord with the PCA BCO 25-7
- To update Article IV – The Board of Deacons, (Approved by the Board of Deacons 6/14/2021)
- Section 1 clarify description of Deacons and Deacon Assistants;
- Section 2 replace Deaconesses with Deacon Assistant;
- Section 3 remove duties from these bylaws, and reference the specific duties currently used as documented in the Deacons Manual.
