Returning back to in-person Worship and Fellowship?

events – Join Us

It has been said “It’s starting to happen — Churches are filling up with worshippers, and singing is back. Even with the Delta variant causing fear numbers to creep upward, Sundays are starting to feel more like they were before the pandemic.”

Yes, worshipping online is convenient, and even necessary for some, but there’s nothing better than experiencing in-person fellowship and worship together for those able to do so. It’s really uplifting to join our voices with others in singing hymns and songs, echoing scripture verses and creeds, and sharing in communal prayers — these acts help us all to feel closer to our God, and also to each other.

God says: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25 ESV

This coming Easter Season starts on Ash Wednesday 3/2/22 (not observed by us), but it begins for many Christians a forty-day period, a personal or corporate journey to Jerusalem that helps us to remember and focus on the suffering and death of Christ, and be refreshed in the good news of His journey to the cross, done for His own. While on the subject, let me highly recommend a Journey with Jesus on the road to Jerusalem daily reflections from To Seek and to Save by Sinclair B, Ferguson.

EASTER – the most important event in history – when Jesus once forever was the atoning sacrifice for all men’s sins. Isaiah 53,3-5:  1 John 2,2

Easter Sunday is 4/17/22, it’s our Christian Celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. So let’s begin gathering together again “For as in one body, we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Romans 12:4-5
