Harvest Festival

Traditionally, fall is a time of year when people are actively going out and doing things before the cold of winter sets in. In the past our church has had a Harvest Festival full of fun, but this year we would like to extend that fun and open it up to the community.

We as a church should welcome the community to such an event with the hope of bringing people to the church. This event will welcome kids in costumes and their families to join us in all sorts of free activities. We will have lots of games to play and prizes to win (mostly candy); we will even have a short skit to entertain the kids and pass along some Biblical truth.

By having this event, it will give us a great opportunity to build a relationship with the community as a whole, as well as individuals and families. On October 30th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., our church will host what is sure to be a wonderful evening of planting seeds, serving our Lord and sharing the love He has for all.
