This year (2021) Loch Raven is able to host Tom Homans and a number of the kids from the Christian Community Center (CCC). Our Missions Committee encourages you to provide some of the items on the Center’s Wish List and bring them to church by December 12.
CANNED GOODS – string beans, baked beans, soup, beef stew, peanut butter, jelly
COOKIES and SNACKS – Oreo & chocolate chip are favorites, chips, Doritos, Cheetos, peanut butter crackers, fruit bars, cheese crackers
FRUIT—apples and oranges
SCHOOL SUPPLIES—mechanical pencils, markers, crayons, lunch boxes, children’s books, copy paper, spiral graph paper notebooks, protractors, compasses, mini whiteboards
CLOTHING—Winter gloves (ages 5-17, especially 7-12 year-olds), Used kids clothing
GAMES— Uno cards, new or gently used board games (Connect 4, Clue, Candy Land, Mouse Trap, Jenga, Master Mind, Operation, Catchphrase, Bananagrams, etc.)
Bring your gifts to the party on December 12, or place them in the designated box in the narthex near the bulletin board
