David was born on January 18 in northern New Jersey, the son of Pastor Bill and Edie Milligan. David met his wife, Sue, while at Grove City College and they were married in June of 1993, following David’s first year of seminary. Sue, a Music Education major, has continued to use her talents teaching voice and piano lessons. David and Sue are the proud parents of five children, and as of 2018 one grandchild.
David graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a M. Div. degree in 1997 and was ordained in March 2000 by the Pittsburgh Presbytery (PCA). He received his B.A. degree from Grove City College in 1992.
2000-2012 – Prior to coming to Loch Raven, Pastor David Milligan served in the Pittsburgh Presbytery as Senior/Solo Pastor of Kiski Valley PCA Church in Leechburg, PA.
January 15, 2012 Pastor William David Milligan was elected by our congregation to be our next Senior Pastor of Loch Raven Presbyterian Church.
In December 2017 Pastor officiated the marriage ceremony of his first-born son Walter to Rachel (Rae) Alger
fast-forward to 2020
Here’s Pastor David teaching and preaching one of his online-only live-steamed Sunday Worship Services during the 2020 Pandemic Church Shutdown. This lasted from March 15th to June 7th, with the help of his family, the Tech Team, and with Josh & Rachel Stenger providing remote praise team support.
Starting June 14th the church building was partially opened to limited in-person Church Worship Services, in addition to outside A/V broadcasting, and continue online live-steaming.
