Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. -Philippians 4:6
Loch Raven Presbyterian Church was founded only after steadfast prayer. For over 30 years, prayer has been a pillar of Loch Raven’s existence. Prayer has sustained us in tough times. Prayer is an integral part of our worship.
If you’re sick, hurting, lost, struggling, or confused – we want to pray with and for you. If you’re celebrating a victory, we want to acknowledge that and give God the glory that He deserves.
How do we do this?
We meet for corporate prayer multiple times throughout the week. We would absolutely encourage you to come out to one of these times of dedicated prayer.
9AM – Church House
1PM – Church House ‘Living Room’
7PM – ‘Choir Room’ (Church Building, Lower Level)
We would encourage all to take a prayer card and tell us your need. We pray for every card at the Tuesday prayer meeting. We then give the cards to the Wednesday night prayer meeting so that they can pray also. Your needs are saturated with prayer. We would like for you to share your praises also so that we can hold these up to our Lord and Savior. Please consider joining our Prayer Groups which meet at 1:00 p.m. every Tuesday and at 7:00 p.m. every Wednesday. The Tuesday group meets in the Church House. The Wednesday group meets in the Choir Room. Prayer cards can be found in your bulletin each week. If you’d like to send a prayer request via email to the church office, it will be passed along to the prayer groups.
