Sunday School Scoop – November 2015

Categories: Blog,LRPC News,Youth

We have one more month of the Fall Quarter to go. Thank you to everyone who is helping to raise our children with a knowledge of our living and loving God! Brea Duty has been working very hard to make teaching the youngest of our children as pleasurable as possible. Thank you!

In order to offer a safe environment for our children, there are some safety matters I’d like to share with all in our congregation. The Preschool and Toddler/Nursery classrooms now have ‘New Child’ registration forms. These are to be filled out when we have visitors, by the parents. ALL classrooms are supposed to have an aide to help each teacher. If you can give just one Sunday a month- or every other month to help as an aide, please see me. The task is not difficult, but as an aide, you will help the lesson and any worksheets flow more easily, you can be another set of eyes ensuring safe play, assisting in clean up, etc.

Parents of the Jr/Jr High class, I will be absent both November 22 ( helping with the retreat in O.C.) and the 29th ( out of town). You and your child can decide if being in the Primary class, or the Senior High class would be the more beneficial.

And on a lighter note- Cute Kid’s Blooper: “Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread. That’s bread made without any ingredients.” and “For those of you who have children and don’t know it, we have a nursery downstairs”
