ACTC Spring Food Drive

Spring is around the corner, hopefully putting the deep freeze behind us. What it doesn’t do however is eliminate hunger. March is LRPC’s month to participate in the spring food drive. We have been asked to collect baked beans and canned meats. Other canned goods are always accepted but this is where the current need is. Also, if you have an abundance of plastic grocery bags please drop them off also. The ACTC uses these to pack up the bags for clients; there is always a need for them.

‘Run For Their Lives’ 5K Run Against Trafficking

Run 4 Their Lives is a Freedom 4/24 event that raises awareness and funds to bring sexually exploited women and children into freedom. 50% of the proceeds from the Baltimore race on May 9th will be given to Araminta Freedom. Araminta’s mission is to awaken, equip and mobilize the Church and the local community to end Human Trafficking in the Baltimore area. Loch Raven has formed a team to run and a donation page has been setup. Let’s unite as a church and let the community know we stand for freedom through Christ.

Spring “Closet Cleanout” For a Good Cause!

Spring is right around the corner, and that means spring cleaning! Please join the Young Adult Ministry as we “Clean out our closets” and donate clothing items to a worthy ministry. Drink at the Well is a Christian organization which provides resources, counseling, and community outreach ministry to surrounding communities in the area of Curtis Bay, in southern Baltimore.

You may bring in donated items to LRPC from March 1st through March 22nd. Please encourage as many people as you can to donate, as this organization has great need of clothing items for their “Hope Chest”, which provides needy members of the community with clothing every Thursday.
