History –

  • Originally a branch of a local mission founded in 1952, CCC became a separate, independent organization on April 11, 1991.



  • To minister to the spiritual, physical, emotional, social and material needs of inner city residents in southwest Baltimore, especially children, teenagers, and their parentsTo faithfully teach the Word of God to lead those who attend the Center to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Christian faith
  • To encourage Christian living among the parents and the establishment of Christian homes
  • To rescue boys and girls and young people from the forces of evil arrayed against them and to lead them into paths of righteousness


Ministry to Children –

  • After school from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. every day from Monday to Friday
  • Summer hours – 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. –one day a week the children go swimming from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Summer Camp Program – two one-week periods at Mountain View Bible Camp in August


Ministry to Women – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Monday – Bible Study and lunch
  • Tuesday- Devotion/film/snack
  • Wednesday- Crafts/snack


Ministry to Men – 11:00 a.m. to noon

  • Monday- Bible Study and lunch


The Center Store-

  • Clothing, household items, school supplies and toys available at no charge to those who attend the Center


Off campus activities

  • Wednesday – 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. dinner and transportation for those attending Tom’s church
  • Saturday- noon to 3:00 p.m. Older boys’ basketball @ Grace Bible Baptist Church
  • Sunday AM church service@ Grace Bible Baptist Church
